Mediterranean Open Water Swimming Cup, Open Water Patras 2018. The sports event took place at the Molos of Agios Nikolaos, reviving an era from 40-50 years ago when water sports (open water swimming, water polo) were held in the harbor of Patras. Olympic medalist and open water swimming champion Spyros Gianniotis participated as a technical delegate and was also honored during the event. (July 2018)
